The store is hosted using Shopify’s e-commerce services. Purchases made through the store are purchases from Red Dirt Mushrooms, not from Shopify.

To place an order, you must:

  • Use the store and products only for lawful purposes

  • Living cultures and spawn naturally vary
  • Color, density, appearance, and growth pattern may differ
  • Product packaging may change
  • Colonization may continue during shipping
  • Biological materials may settle or separate
  • Minor differences do not necessarily indicate a defect

We may correct an inaccurate description, price, photograph, availability statement, or other store error.

6. No Medical or Health Claims

Product descriptions and website content are provided for cultivation and general informational purposes.

Red Dirt Mushrooms does not provide medical advice and does not promise that any product will diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or improve a health condition.

Customers should not rely on our website as a substitute for professional medical, legal, agricultural, scientific, or safety advice.

7. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase.

We may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order because of:

  • Product availability
  • Pricing or listing errors
  • Suspected fraud
  • Payment problems
  • Shipping restrictions
  • Inventory or production limitations
  • Safety concerns
  • Suspected unlawful activity

An automated order confirmation means that we received the order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or shipped.

If we cancel a paid but unshipped order, we will issue the appropriate refund.

The customer is responsible for:

Prices, discounts, shipping offers, and promotions may change without advance notice. Changes will not normally affect an order already accepted, except when correcting an obvious error.

Payment information is processed through Shopify and the payment providers available during checkout. We do not guarantee that every payment method will remain available.

9. Discount Codes and Promotions

Discounts:

  • Must be used according to their stated terms

  • May exclude certain products

  • Have no cash value
  • May be canceled when obtained or used through fraud, automation, duplication, or misuse

Any free shipping offer applies only when shown as available at checkout.

Some spawn products may be inoculated, prepared, or produced after an order is placed.

Production and processing estimates are not carrier delivery guarantees.

We may delay shipment when reasonably necessary to protect a living product from severe weather, weekend storage, or other foreseeable shipping risks.

11. No Returns

We do not accept returns of liquid cultures, grain spawn, or sawdust spawn.

When an eligible issue is supported by proof, we may offer a refund, replacement, or agreed store credit under our Refund and Return Policy.

12. Storage and Handling

Customers are responsible for:

  • Promptly retrieving delivered packages
  • Following storage instructions
  • Using appropriate sterile or clean technique
  • Using suitable substrates and equipment
  • Monitoring incubation conditions
  • Avoiding cross-contamination
  • Using products within the recommended period

Failure to follow appropriate storage or handling practices may affect eligibility for a refund or replacement.

13. Biological Variation and Cultivation Results

Liquid cultures and spawn are living materials. Successful cultivation depends on conditions outside our control.

We do not guarantee:

  • A particular colonization speed
  • Successful inoculation
  • Freedom from contamination introduced after delivery
  • Compatibility with every substrate
  • A particular yield
  • Fruiting success
  • Commercial performance
  • A particular financial result

The remedy for a product shown to have been defective when delivered is governed by our Refund and Return Policy.

14. Website Accounts

Customers are responsible for:

  • Keeping account information accurate

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total responsibility for a claim involving an order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product and its applicable standard shipping charge to the customer, if any.

Submitting altered evidence, false photographs, false delivery information, or a knowingly false contamination claim may result in:

Before filing a lawsuit, the parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute directly. If that is unsuccessful, the parties will attempt nonbinding mediation in Grady County, Oklahoma. Either party may use small-claims court when eligible.

If one part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply to the extent reasonably possible.

28. No Waiver

A delay in enforcing a term does not permanently waive the right to enforce that term later.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the policies and order information referenced in them, form the agreement between the customer and Red Dirt Mushrooms concerning the online store purchase.
